sky of crane(s)
Cranes can be seen nearly everywhere in Singapore. It’s definitely not the first stage of a building but its certainty one of the more obvious one. Before I knew it, a flock of mechanical cold cranes will have been erected, taking over the warm and sweet memories of the place I could remember. These photos were repeating concept in my photographs. Showing how pervasive and numb we are to these cranes. Significances of these cranes vary as well and could mean different things to different people. It can be positive such as a newly wedded couples waiting for their new home or negative such as one’s favourite mall is flatten for a new mega mall. I hope that my series of photographs can evoke continuity of changes in our generation and of cause, the modern wonder that enable it.
